Technical field of the invention
The present invention relates to a pusher arrangement for a timepiece. In particular, a timepiece such as a wristwatch, a wristwatch and a wristwatch includes at least one of the abovementioned pushing arrangements. The pusher arrangement according to the present invention provides advantages in that the pusher of the watches can operate in an easier and more ergonomic manner.
Background of the invention
[0002] A pusher of a timepiece provides a physical interface between a user and a switch that activates a selectable functionality in the timepiece. In a conventional timepiece such as a wristwatch, a pusher is mounted to the sidewall of a housing member that surrounds a mechanical watch movement or an electronic circuit that includes switches.
A conventional pusher typically comprises a rigid rod having an externally exposed button which is connected to a tubular rod which is positioned in a cavity of a housing member of the watch. Said tubular rod of the pusher is held by an elastic means in an inactive position, while, when the pusher is pushed towards the inner part of the housing element, direct or indirect mechanical or electrical contact can be established. Such pushers are related to features such as start, stop and reset functions.
[0004] The pushers inherent in the conventional wristwatches set forth above are less than ergonomically optimal, because of the operating mechanism that requires users to coaxially press on the push-button. The pushers are, depending on the thickness of the housing of the watch, more often than not positioned very close to the skin of the wrist. In some cases, users must remove the wristwatch in order to actuate the pusher because of the pressing pressure of the pushers during the range of the wristwatches.
Therefore, the activation or deactivation of such pushers that are located in the side wall of the housing often requires great effort. Moreover, in some cases, when a user tries to activate a selectable functionality of the wristwatch using a first pusher sometimes causes the unwanted activation of another selectable feature from a second pusher. This causes significant inconvenience to the users.
Therefore, it is necessary to find an alternative in comparison to existing technologies in which the pusher of the timepiece can be operated easily to meet the ergonomic requirements of users.
Summary of the present invention
The inventors of the present invention have discovered effective remedies for the aforementioned drawbacks by introducing a new concept of pusher arrangement as claimed thereafter. The pusher arrangement according to the present invention provides easier actuation of the pusher. Thanks to its innovative feature of its "own axis of rotation" of the pusher arrangement, said pusher arrangements are designed to be ergonomic and thus users can operate the selection features of the wristwatch effortlessly and in a manner easy, thus reducing the possibility of improperly pressing the false pushbutton. In addition, because of its "safe release" feature of the pusher arrangement, the present invention prevents the pusher arrangement from accidentally activating, thereby causing unwanted activation of the selected features of the wristwatch.
Therefore, the present invention relates, in a first aspect, to a pusher arrangement for a timepiece, the pusher arrangement being positioned adjacent to the side wall of a housing of the workpiece. timepiece, the pusher arrangement comprising a pivot, a trigger, a cylindrical member, and a contact member, the trigger being held by the pivot so that the trigger is rotated on its own vertical axis (V) relative to the upper horizontal surface of the housing. Such a pusher arrangement has the advantage of user-facilitated operation due to its ergonomic feature, where the user can operate the pusher by removing or pressing the trigger from the pusher arrangement, without the need for remove the wristwatch.
[0009] A second aspect of the invention comprises a timepiece comprising at least one pushbutton according to the first aspect of the present invention. This feature advantageously allows the timepiece to have several selectable features, such as start, stop, reset, alarm and other functions.
In a third, fourth and fifth aspect of the invention, the present invention relates to a wristwatch, a stop watch or a chronograph according to the first aspect of the present invention.
In a sixth aspect of the invention, the present invention relates to a method of operating the pusher arrangement according to the pusher arrangement of the present invention comprising the steps of:at. application of a vertical pressure (A) on the trigger head,b. the trigger turns on its own vertical axis (V),vs. the neck presses on the cylindrical element,d. the cylindrical element moves axially (B) towards the contact element,e. the cylindrical element touches and activates the contact element;f. the contact element activates other components of the timepiece.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the trigger comprises a head and a neck, the neck being arranged to be brought into contact with the cylindrical member. Such a feature advantageously allows that the direction of the head movement is independent of the direction of neck movement. In addition, such a feature also allows vertical movement of the head is transposed in an axial movement of the neck.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the trigger is a block-shaped structure, an L-shaped structure, a triangular structure, a V-shaped structure, or a C-shaped structure. such a characteristic makes it possible advantageously that a perpendicular movement of the trigger head is transposed in an axial movement of the trigger neck.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the trigger comprises at least one segment with a male screw portion and the cylindrical member comprises at least one segment with a female screw portion, the male screw portion being accepted by the female screw portion to form a secure release system when a vertical pressure (A, A) greater than a predetermined minimum pressure is exerted on the trigger head. This preferred embodiment provides the opportunity for the pusher arrangement to operate advantageously in a "secure trigger" mode, in which a pressure greater than a predetermined minimum pressure is applied to the trigger, regardless of the question whether this is a pressure up or down, the pusher arrangement according to the present invention activating the contact elements of the housing to perform their actuations. This prevents the pusher arrangement from activating the contact element when the pusher trigger is inadvertently pressed.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the pusher arrangement is positioned partially within a cavity of the housing, the cavity comprising a second or other contact member. This feature advantageously allows the timepiece to have several selectable features to operate.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the contact element is a mechanical contact or an electrical contact. This advantageously allows the pusher arrangement to activate other housing components.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, at least one segment of the male screw portion of the trigger engages with at least one segment of the female screw portion of the cylindrical member before the neck presses. on the cylindrical element. This advantageously allows the pusher arrangement to form a secure triggering system, so that the pusher arrangement is only activated if a pressure greater than a predetermined minimum pressure is applied to the trigger head.

Detailed description of the present invention
A new pusher arrangement for a timepiece and a corresponding method are adopted. In particular, at least one of the pusher arrangements can be mounted in a timepiece, said timepiece being a bracelet timepiece such as a wristwatch, a wristwatch, a wristwatch .
Specifically, a first aspect of the invention relates to the pusher arrangement that includes a pivot, a trigger, a cylindrical member, and a contact member, the trigger being held by the pivot so that the trigger is rotated on its own vertical axis (V) relative to the upper horizontal surface of the housing.
In order to overcome the above-mentioned limitations of the conventional timepiece-bracelet pusher, the present invention provides an alternative but effective means of pressing or removing the button in a vertical direction relative to a vertical axis of the housing member. the timepiece-bracelet. This distinctive feature overcomes the pressing difficulties of the pusher of very fine watches that are very close to the wrist skin. Such a pusher arrangement has the advantage of simplified operation thanks to its ergonomic feature for users, where the user can operate the pusher by simply pressing the pusher, without the need to remove the wristwatch.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wristwatch with a pusher arrangement according to the present invention. The pusher arrangement 10 is adjacent to the side wall of the housing 3 of the wristwatch. Part of the pusher arrangement 10 is positioned in the cavity 8 of the housing member 3, exposing only the head 22 of the trigger 6 to the outside of the wristwatch.
FIG. 2 represents a view from above of the wristwatch according to the present invention. The pusher arrangement 10 may be positioned at each of the side walls of the housing 3. However, by ergonomic reasoning, the pusher arrangement 10 is preferably positioned on the left or right side of the wristwatch, more preferably between 1 and 5 hours, and between 7 and 11 o'clock. A pivot 5 having at least one pivot axis allows the trigger 6 to rotate about its own axis.
FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of the pusher arrangement 10 according to the present invention. The reference A in FIG. 2 delimits the approximate sectional view of the pusher arrangement 10. The pusher arrangement shown here is located 4 hours from the housing 3.
FIG. 4 is a close-up view of FIG. 3, wherein the trigger is in a "relaxed" position. When no pressure is placed on the head 22 of the trigger 6, for example, an angle α of 90 ° is formed between the vertical axis 44 of the housing 3 and the upper horizontal surface of the head 22. The trigger 6 can be a block-shaped structure, a triangular structure, an L-shaped structure, a C-shaped structure, a V-shaped structure or a boomerang structure. In particular, the horizontal portion of the head 22 is parallel to the flat surface 43 of the housing 3. The neck portion 23 of the trigger 6 is aligned to be adjacent to the cylindrical member 7, which is positioned inside. of the cavity 8 of the housing 3.
As can be seen in FIG. 4, two plugs 13 are located above and below one end of the cylindrical member 7. When the pusher arrangement 10 is in a "relaxed" position, in an inner mount 15 which is adjacent to the 7, the end 16 of the inner mount 15 serves as an anchor to the plug 13 so that the pusher arrangement 10 can be positioned in a "relaxed" position. Due to the strength of the resilient means 11, the cylindrical member 7 would be withdrawn back toward the trigger 6 even without the inner mount 15. Therefore, the inner mount 15 with the plugs 13 which are mounted on the cylindrical member 7 are essential to the "relaxed" state of the pusher arrangement 10.
Figs. 5 and 6 show respectively that the pusher arrangement 10 is in an operating position. Thanks to the mechanical structure of the trigger 6, perpendicular movements (A in Fig. 5, A in Fig. 6) of the head 22 of the trigger 6 are transposed in a horizontal movement of the neck 23 of the trigger 6. A pivot having at least one pivot axis 5 holds the trigger 6 in place, so that the trigger 6 rotates on its own axis by the vertical pressure (A, A). In the same way, the cylindrical element 7 can be held by an elastic means 11, such as coil springs which are positioned in the cavity 8 of the housing 3. The coil springs can be assembled above and below the cavity 8. Due to the elastic means attached to the cylindrical element 7, the cylindrical element 7 moves axially along the cavity 8, moving inwardly of the inner part of the housing 3.
The male screw portion 24 may be positioned on the inner side of the neck 23 of the trigger 6. Said male screw portion 24 may have a thread which is complementary to the thread of the female screw portion 26 of the cylindrical member 7 The two male screw portions 24 and the female screw portion 26 act as a secure release system, in which a pressure greater than a predetermined minimum pressure is required to "start" the pusher arrangement 10.
Fig. 5 is a close-up view of FIG. 3, wherein the pusher arrangement 10 is in a "down" position. When a perpendicular pressure (A) is placed on the head 22 of the trigger 6, the head 6 moves vertically outwards. The vertical movement of the head 22 is transposed in an axial movement of the neck 23. When the vertical pressure (A) is greater than the predetermined minimum pressure used to activate the trigger 6 of the pusher arrangement 10, the neck 23 becomes moves towards the cylindrical member 7. Once the male screw portion 24 engages with the female screw portion 26, the cylindrical member 7 is urged by the neck 23 to move axially (B) in the direction of the contact element 9. Then, the contact element 9 is touched and activated by the cylindrical element 7. A second or another contact element 9 can be located in the cavity 8 of the housing 3 in order to to activate several selectable features of the wristwatch.
On the contrary, FIG. 6 is a close-up view of FIG. 3, wherein the pusher arrangement 10 is in a "withdrawn" position. When a perpendicular pressure (A) is placed on the head 22 of the trigger 6, the head 6 moves vertically upwards. Once the male screw portion 25 engages with the female screw portion 27, the cylindrical member 7 is urged by the neck 23 to move axially (B) in the of the contact element 9. Then, the contact element 9 is touched and activated by the cylindrical element 7. A second or another contact element 9 can be located in the cavity 8 of the housing 3 in order to actuate several selectable features of the wristwatch.
In order to maximize the ergonomic function of the wristwatch, the trigger can be turned upward or downward up to 90 °.
The pusher arrangement 10 may be composed of different materials, including a metal such as gold, silver, platinum, steel, bronze, and a metal alloy of these metals, plastics, silicon, wood and other material commonly used in the watchmaking industry.
